Bandits big sticks bash Heat

PERTH – The reigning champions have put on a hitting clinic in Perth ahead of today’s series-concluding game at Harley Davidson Ballpark in Perth. The Brisbane Bandits have bashed a mindblowing 41 runs across 3 games and have the brooms ready to break out and their offense has no signs of slowing.

21 of those 41 runs have been across 3 innings with the Heat giving up three 7 run innings so far in this series.

While the Heat offence has looked solid for the majority of the series, the pitching has been a problem with starters, Alex Boshers (Game 1) and Kyle Simon (Game 2) both well below par and bullpen issues are a real concern for the Heat.

How about Mitch Nillson for the Bandits? Last night he was a triple shy of completing the cycle and has a season batting average of .636 on the season.

Today’s game will feature Tom Bailey for the Heat up against Justin Erasmus for the Bandits – game set to go at 4pm local time.
